Marvel's BLADE Reboot Small Budget and problems Revealed

The Blade movie for the MCU is still having issues at Marvel Studios, Variety reports. The blockbuster starring Mahershala Ali is apparently getting rewritten again, with Logan writer Michael Green leading the charge.

At least five different writers and two directors have now worked on the project, and there are rumors that Ali was going to depart before the most recent rewrite was requested. This occurs at the same time that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has been reworking MCU projects in response to public criticism of the franchise's superpowers.

Blade, which is presently scheduled for release in 2025, is also rumored to have a $100 million budget, which represents a significant departure from Marvel Studios' customary spending patterns.
