First Look at ECHO's Marvel Studios Costume Revealed

Echo's initial teaser offered a TV-MA, grounded plot similar to Daredevil on Netflix. But Maya Lopez is going to gain superpowers—possibly connected to her Choctaw ancestors—which will probably change the game for the MCU's erstwhile antagonist. Naturally, there will also be a costume, which has finally been made public thanks to a picture from a recent press conference. Although it's evident that the design was an original work of art intended to honor Maya's Native American heritage, we can also see how Echo's experiences using the Phoenix Force on the page served as inspiration. Regarding the MCU hero's abilities, director Sydney Freeland recently stated,

"Her power in the comic books is that she can copy anything, any movement, any whatever. It’s kind of lame. I will say, that is not her power. I’ll just kind of leave it at that."
