Moon Knight Season 2 CANCELED at Marvel Studios

In 2022, Marvel Studios released Moon Knight on Disney+ with Oscar Isaac leading the series to positive reviews. The dark, surreal show about a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who becomes involved in an Egyptian gods mystery set it apart from other MCU shows.

Despite its mini-series nature, rumors of a second season have circulated since its release. Brad Winderbaum of Marvel Television told ComicBook.com that there are no plans for another season.


"I think Marvel Television has happened in waves, and Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that established future-related characters," he said. Moving forward, our priorities have changed. We make shows for annual releases, like television.”

However, Winderbaum promised that Moon Knight will return in the MCU: “There are plans for Moon Knight down the road.”
