Marvel And DC Comics announce Crossover
DC Comics Editor-In-Chief Marie Javins and Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief CB Cebulski announced a new crossover between the two comic books for later this year at ComicsPRO in Glendale, California, after the Keynote speech. Marvel/DC and DC/Marvel one-shots.
They discussed the two omnibuses published last year that reprinted DC and Marvel comics. CB Cebulski: "We enjoyed working together. This was a great project, but I think we have another white whale." Marie Javins: "Another white whale?" "That we haven't seen for 20 years or so." "Not sure what you're talking about. I can only think of one other white whale." "Another crossover, a modern crossover, are you up for it?" CB asked retailers. "What do you think?" After a loud cheer from the retailers, he said, "I guess we have no choice but to do this." Marie Javins asked, "Can I make more fart comics as part of this" about promised scratch-and-sniff Harley Quinn comics. To Marie's exclamation, CB said, "I don't think that's exactly what they were talking about" "But I brought the swatches. I brought printer swatches. It smells. Come smell it. Mine are here." CB shook his head, "I don't know why they applauded. They may be discussing a Marvel DC/DC Marvel crossover." "Can we get it done in 2025?" "I think we put together some creators and some character ideas…"
