Jonathan Majors Found Guilty
Jonathan Majors is an actor who is best known for playing Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for roles in movies like Lovecraft Country and Creed III. He has been found guilty on two charges in his unfinished criminal trial. A New York jury found Majors guilty of both harassment and reckless attack in the third degree on Monday. The charges were related to a fight he had with his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari. Two other charges against him were dropped: intentional assault in the third degree and severe harassment in the second degree. The sentencing hearing for Majors is set for February 6, 2024. He could spend up to a year in jail.
Majors was taken to the hospital after the fight she had with Jabbari on March 25. An NYPD spokesman said she "sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition." Majors said he was not guilty of all the charges against him. Reports from April say that more people who say they were abused by Majors came forward to help the Manhattan district attorney's office.
