Venom 3 Delayed by Sony
Just hours after the SAG-AFTRA strike ended, Sony Pictures became the first big studio to make a move, formally rescheduling Tom Hardy's Venom 3 from next summer to November 8, 2024, where it will be released in IMAX and on premium large format theaters.
According to Deadline, Sony is planning to commence shooting very soon, potentially even by the end of this week, so it appears likely that we'll be hearing some major casting news shortly, especially since Hardy is the only announced cast member thus far.
That date had already been set for a Marvel/Sony release, so no further rescheduling is planned, but for the time being, it appears that Sony will release three Marvel films next year, with S. J. Clarkson's Madame Web arriving on February 14, 2024; J. C. Chandor's Kraven the Hunter arriving on August 30, 2024; and Kelly Marcel's aforementioned Venom 3 in November.
