The Marvels Post-Credits Scene Explained

The Marvels Post-Credits Scene Explained

Monica Rambeau wakes up in a separate reality after being trapped at the end of The Marvels during the post-credits sequence. The main character is seen lying down in a hospital bed when a variation of her mother, Maria Rambeau, emerges. The huge cameo then comes into play with Beast, a notable X-Men member, joining the fray and attempting to comprehend how Monica got into this strange parallel reality.

"All we know is that Binary found you. My theory? You somehow crossed through a tear in space-time. You are now in a reality parallel to your own. Which, of course, is impossible."

The Beast seen in The Marvels' post-credits sequence appears to be voiced by original X-Men actor Kelsey Grammer. However, unlike the Fox movie, this version of the enormous blue monster is entirely computer-generated.

Hank McCoy is an X-Men member who has previously been portrayed in live action by Kelsey Grammer and Nicholas Hoult. This is the MCU's second appearance of a legendary X-Men figure, the first being Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, in a cameo from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The unifying link between the two cameos was that each X-Men member was accompanied by a version of Maria Rambeau. It's on Earth-838 in the Multiverse of Madness; however, it's not specified which timeline is visited in The Marvels.
