Spider-Man's Role in Daredevil Born Again Revealed
The setting of Daredevil: Born Again is a street-level area of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is a region of this world that is in dire need of expansion, and it is hoped that Spider-Man 4 will do just that—despite rumors that it is a Multiversal affair. If the second season of the Man Without Fear TV series is completed in time, it will be able to premiere before Spider-Man 4 hits theaters in July of next year (though the recent delay probably won't have much of an impact).
This creates the possibility of Daredevil and Spider-Man collaborating to fight Wilson Fisk, the Mayor of New York City, and the Kingpin of Crime. Rumors concerning Daredevil have been going around for a while: The Spidey reference in Born Again was confirmed by reporter Jake Hamilton during his interviews with Vincent D'Onofrio and Charlie Cox for Jake's Takes.
Hamilton noted that Fisk mentions "a kid dressed like a spider" in the second episode when discussing Daredevil: Born Again's MCU connections.
There are also rumors on social media about Muse's Spidey street art. Although neither Easter Egg is what we wanted, it opens the door to Daredevil appearing in Spider-Man 4.
