VENOM: THE LAST DANCE Secures China Release Date

Whether you love or despise the Venom franchise—and most comic book fans definitely seem to fall into the latter—there's no doubting Sony Pictures has made a lot of money off of it.

With Venom: The Last Dance coming out next month, the trilogy will now come to an end. Although the threequel is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on October 25, it has now been announced that it will debut in China on October 23. It won't take long for spoilers and complete bootleg versions to proliferate online, according to historical data. Why is the most recent Venom film coming to the Middle Kingdom a little sooner than it should be? Venom made $270 million there in 2018, which made up around one-third of its $856 million worldwide cume. Not many Hollywood blockbusters were released there at the time, so Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which was released in the latter months of the pandemic, wasn't either.
