THE FANTASTIC FOUR FIRST STEPS Set Photos reveal Baxter Building & Launching Pad

Today marked the start of filming on The Fantastic Four: First Steps in London, and the first set pictures have arrived. The "Excelsior" launch pad of the Baxter Building is seen being built from above in these seemingly drone-taken photos.

This alternate reality of 1960s New York City is confirmed to be located next to the Baxter Building on a recently released city map. This is most likely where the team takes off in the Fantasticar when embarking on adventures together.

It appears that the famous "4" logo will turn blue in the sun, and in other places, Marvel Studios is building entire city streets. It seems like the only option available, and considering how different this take on the Big Apple looks, it makes more sense to do this than to shoot on location.


Below is another image of a set that is referred to as a "small town." But we have a suspicion that Yancy Street is actually intended to be Ben Grimm's stomping ground.
