Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow Gets Release Date & Director

After James Gunn's Superman, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be the second DCU film in theaters. Warner Bros. stated that our new Girl of Steel will fly on June 26, 2026.

New Line's Mortal Kombat 2 will open on October 24, 2025, and Zach Creggar's Weapons will open on January 16, 2026.

Woman of Tomorrow, starring Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon), will be directed by Craig Gillespie.

Gunn's Kara Zor-El is a "less earnest and more edgy version of the iconic superheroine" that departs from "previous depictions of the Girl of Steel, particularly the long-running CBS/CW series fronted by Melissa Benoist."
