Wesley Snipes BLADE Return Project Revealed
Wesley Snipes signed on to play Blade in the MCU earlier this week, after months of rumors. X-Men and Spider-Man are often credited with bringing superheroes back to movies, but Blade and Blade II may have initiated the trend in the early 2000s. Given that, Marvel Studios may want to offer Snipes the chance to say goodbye to the Daywalker after Blade: Trinity's failure.
@MyTimeToShineH reported that Snipes will reprise Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Mahershala Ali should have appeared in the Blade revival by then, thus this makes more sense than the future Avengers flicks. Remember Snipes and Reynolds' film history.
It's no secret the former was difficult to deal with on Blade: Trinity (2004). We've heard Reynolds was confused by Snipes after they played Hannibal King and Blade almost two decades ago. Reynolds claimed he had "utmost respect" for Snipes' method acting in 2022, but he "never met Wesley, I only met Blade." If there are no repercussions, the Deadpool threequel should include this cameo.
