Tom Holland says Everyone Wants Spider-Man 4 to Happen
Tom Holland's Spider-Man returns to MCU. Kevin Feige said in 2021 that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios were "actively developing" an untitled sequel to the $1.9 billion-grossing Spider-Man: No Way Home. Holland discussed the rumored first film of a Sony-Marvel Studios Spider-Man trilogy at the Sands International Film Festival in Scotland over the weekend.
"The simple answer is that I'll always want to do Spider-Man films," Holland told Deadline. I owe Spider-Man my life and career. Simple answer: yes. I'll always desire more."
Holland acknowledged the "complicated answer," explaining the challenge: writing a story that follows 2017's Homecoming, 2019's Far From Home, and 2021's No Way Home without duplicating them.
"The greatest in the business is working on the story. We must preserve our legacy till we solve it "Holland stated. "The third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing."
He added, "I've never been involved in creative so early in this process. I'm just watching and learning. This stage is fun for me. As mentioned, everyone wants it. We want to avoid overdoing the same things."
