SHE-HULK star Addresses Lawsuit Against Disney & Ryan Reynold
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law received mixed reviews in 2022. The series disappointed many by subverting expectations. A fresh take on the Intelligencia was welcome, but not leading to The Leader was baffling.
There was plenty to love, even if some still complain about She-Hulk twerking with Megan Thee Stallion. The finale's fourth wall break divided opinions.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's female lead and pro-feminist themes drew criticism from those who called the Disney+ series "woke" or another bad addition to the growing "M-She-U."
Lead actress Tatiana Maslany has been targeted by online trolls for years, and after Deadpool & Wolverine was released, she was the subject of a bizarre fake rumor. YouTubers claimed the Orphan Black star was furious with Marvel Studios for cutting She-Hulk from the threequel. We didn't report on it because it was fabricated, but Maslany was informed.
"I was in 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' I had two scenes in it. And then Ryan Reynolds fired me from the show because he said, 'I don’t like these scenes.' Now I’m suing Disney."
"I always talk about how much I hate Wolverine and Deadpool. I talk about it all the time. I also wish I’d just sit down and stop pushing my feminist agenda and just realize that ['Deadpool & Wolverine'] made a lot of money and ‘She-Hulk’ only made three dollars," Maslany continued. "That’s why they were getting rid of me because I had this woke agenda and I really wanted to bring it into the movie."
in case it isn't already crystal clear, she is joking.
