Vincent D'Onofrio Says Spider-Man & Daredevil can take him down in the MCU

In Hawkeye, Vincent D'Onofrio made his MCU comeback as the Kingpin of Crime. However, many fans were disappointed to learn that his story had ended with a bullet to the head, thanks to Maya Lopez. Fortunately, the villain will return grandly after he recovers from his injury in Echo later this month. From there, he will also take center stage in Daredevil: Born Again and is anticipated to be Spider-Man 4's main antagonist as well; in fact, it is been widely reported that Wilson Fisk will end up becoming New York City's new Mayor after vowing to deal with the city's vigilantes. In an unusual question, D'Onofrio was asked which Avenger or hero he believes could kill The Kingpin.

"This is a very difficult question, because I don't see that happening," the actor explained. "I don't see Kingpin dying. Kingpin never died in the canon of the comic books, so that's very difficult. I'll talk in terms of who could come close to it."

"I think that it would have to be either Daredevil or Spider-Man...together, the two of them together, maybe. But I don't see Kingpin going away," D'Onofrio added. "He never did when I was a kid, so I don't expect he will now."
