Daredevil will have a MAJOR Role in Spider-Man 4 Reportedly

Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, has been joined by an older "father figure" character in all three of his previous movies, and it looks like this may continue with his upcoming fourth movie.

Multiple “insiders” who “work” in the movie business have heard that Daredevil (Charlie Cox) has a "sizable role" in the current draft of the Spider-Man 4 script. However, this is still a rumor for now. Many people think that The Man Without Fear will be in the movie. He might not be the only important character who shows up, though.

We don't know if a writer was even connected to the movie (they may have been, but nothing has been said), so don't put too much stock in this one just yet. Still, it would make sense for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen to show up after Matt Murdock's appearance in No Way Home. But we're not so sure about the Scott Lang thing.

Holland will almost certainly be back, but this might be the last time he plays the wall-crawler. The star recently said in an interview that he's grown too dependent on Spider-Man as a "safety blanket."

"I want to do things that scare me, things that make me uncomfortable. When you do what we do, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. This show is a perfect example of that. Ben is consistently telling me that if you don’t commit, they won’t believe you. The reason I wasn’t committing is because I was afraid. I’ve never done anything like this before. I got so used to the Marvel machine and the safety blanket of Spider-Man, feeling like I was protected. So, doing something like this was incredibly scary, but because it was so scary, it was so fulfilling and rewarding. Going forward, if there’s something that I feel like I can’t do, I want to do it. Playing a sort of stupid English doofus is not what I want to do because that’s my life, right?"
