According to a new report, DC Studios has recently appointed Andy Muschietti, director of the film The Flash, to serve as the showrunner for The Brave and the Bold.

The information was provided by One Take News. It cites several unnamed sources close to the production who claim that Muschietti is set to direct The Brave and the Bold. The film will center on the father-son dynamic between Batman and the Damian Wayne incarnation of Robin, and it will feature Muschietti as the director. One Take News notes as part of the report that the parent company of DC Studios, Warner Bros. Discovery, has not yet officially confirmed or denied Muschietti's supposed involvement in The Brave and the Bold. Fans should disregard as pure speculation any rumors or buzz that link the Argentine director to the project until such time as the aforementioned event takes place.
