Henry Cavill's Cut Superman Role in the Flash Revealed
The Flash almost had a different ending, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and it would have featured Henry Cavill in the role of Superman.
The omitted final moments still took place on the steps of the courthouse, but instead of a cameo appearance by George Clooney, Barry would have been greeted by a number of different superheroes.
After the court date for Barry's father, Henry Cavill's version of Superman and Sasha Calle's version of Supergirl would have met up with Barry. In addition, the versions of Wonder Woman portrayed by Gal Gadot and Batman portrayed by Michael Keaton were scheduled to be present. The purpose of their appearances was to drop hints about the upcoming projects in which they will be involved. In the original plan, Keaton was supposed to take over as the permanent Batman role, Gal Gadot was going to star in a third installment of Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill was going to star in a new Superman film, and Warner Bros. wanted to keep the door open for Alison Calle to reprise her role as Kara Zor-El.
