The Flash Final Box Office Predictions are Abysmal
According to The Wrap's reporting, a launch in the United States grossing $75 million would place the film ahead of Black Adam's $67 million and well ahead of Shazam! Fury of the Gods' $30.1 million, this is a far cry of the predictions made weeks ago that the film would make close to 140 million on its opening weekend and be a global phenomenon.
Because The Flash is said to have a budget of $220 million (according to CBC), there is going to be a significant amount of attention placed on how well the film does in international markets, in addition to how well it does in the coming weeks and months.
At this point, the messaging surrounding The Flash is predominantly positive, and the show has received very positive reviews from critics. Despite the fact that Ezra Miller has been the subject of much debate, the director of The Flash believes that Miller is the only suitable candidate for the role, in the event that there is a sequel to The Flash.
