MCU Abandoning Netflix Daredevil Actors for Daredevil Born Again

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson will not be reprising their roles as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series on Disney+. Both actors played starring roles in the first season of the Daredevil show that was broadcast on Netflix. Following the launch of Born Again production, the two actors were reportedly absent from the roll call for the cast and crew. At this point in time, it is not clear whether Marvel Studios intends to recast the pair or if they will simply abandon the characters altogether.

Karen Page, played by Ann Woll on the Netflix series Daredevil, went from being the office manager at Nelson and Murdock to being named in their next legal endeavor, which was titled Nelson, Murdock, and Page by the time the series came to an end.

According to the same report, Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as the Punisher in both the second season of Daredevil and the first season of The Punisher, his own spin-off series. As production in New York City gets underway, an actor from "The Walking Dead" will be joining the cast of "Daredevil," starring Charlie Cox, "Kingpin," starring Vincent D'Onofrio, and others.
