George Clooney talks Batman Return & The Flash

The Hollywood Reporter recently talked to Clooney on the red carpet for his new movie, The Boys in the Boat. They asked him if his role was a one-time thing or if he could play Batman again. "Yes, of course. He said, "I don't know why, but there weren't many requests for me to play Batman again."

This is likely not news to Clooney that his performance in The Flash wasn't very well received, so we have to think that was the end of his time as Batman on screen. Clooney later talked about his new project as a director on Jimmy Kimmel Live! He told a funny story about a conversation he had with his six-year-old son about the time he spent playing the World's Greatest Detective.

"Oh yeah. Somehow there were not a lot of requests for me to reprise my role as Batman," he said, "I don’t know why." "My son’s in love with Batman. Right? He’s in love with Batman. That’s all he talks about is Batman. And I’m like, ‘You know I was Batman?’ And he’s like [smiles], ‘Yeah, not anymore.’ He has no idea how right he is."
