Superman Legacy Casts Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen

James Gunn's Superman film is one step closer to being a success. Following the actors' strike, the first DC Studios film has continued its casting spree, and has now acquired two crucial members of the Man of Steel supporting ensemble.

Skyler Gisondo, best known for his work on HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, has been cast as Jimmy Olsen, The Daily Planet's boyish cub photographer who works alongside Clark Kent and Lois Lane. At the same time, Sara Sampaio, a Portuguese model best known for her Victoria's Secret work, has been cast as Eve Teschmacher, the conniving villain Lex Luthor's (Nicholas Hoult) assistant and occasionally mistress.
