WB Delays Aquaman 2 Release Date

The release date for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has been rescheduled, albeit not significantly.

The eagerly anticipated DC Studios follow-up has been postponed from Wednesday, December 20, to Friday, December 22, 2023, according to Variety. By making the change, Warner Bros. will have more space between two of their major holiday releases: the Aquaman movie and Wonka. James Wan is once again directing Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which he wrote from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. Jason Momoa will be back in the follow-up, playing Arthur Curry/Aquaman once more. Several members of the returning cast, including Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, and Amber Heard as Mera, will be joining him.
