Sony Cancels ANOTHER Spider-Man Project
One of the entries into Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSMU), according to the screenwriter working on it, is quite possibly no longer in the process of being actively developed.
The plot of the film Silver Sable, which was produced by Sony Pictures, involves... well, a lot. The film was originally conceived of in 2014 as a team-up movie between the femme fatale Black Cat and the high-tech mercenary Silvija Sablinova, also known as Silver Sable. However, in 2018, the film was divided into two separate projects.
Lindsey Anderson Beer, the writer behind Silver Sable, recently gave an interview to ComicBook.com in which she discussed the current state of the long-awaited solo film. Anderson Beer claims that Sony is "not currently developing" Silver Sable any longer, but this is not the case.
"It was something that Sony was looking at and then, as far as I know, is not currently developing. I had to hop off that to another project at the time. I was only on it as -- people hire writers as, it's called a 'weekly,' I was helping them out.
