Marvel Studios Reveals Scrapped Namor Post-Credits Scene

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, stated in a recent interview with Empire that Black Panther director Ryan Coogler "had an idea" to include Namor in a post-credits sequence in the first film:

“Ryan had a pitch for a tag at the end of Black Panther. The camera would push through the palace in Wakanda, and then we'd see wet footprints leading up to the throne.”

Instead, after being frozen and cured in Wakanda at the conclusion of Captain America: Civil War, Coogler and company chose to bring Bucky Barnes back into the fold and use that as the next Chapter to set up multiple things, So as it turns out the long standing rumor of Namor being introduced early are true.
