SPIDER-MAN 4 Sadie Sink's Mystery Role Revealed

Sadie Sink joined Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' Spider-Man 4 in a "significant" role yesterday, sparking speculation about who she might play. Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy, Felicia Hardy, and Angelica Jones are early favorites. Jeff Sneider revealed her role as Mary Jane Watson on tonight's episode of The Hot Mic with Jeff Sneider and John Rocha. It may be a while before the studios reveal it.

As you may recall, Sneider was the first to report that Sink was the frontrunner for Jean Grey in Marvel Studios' X-Men. He was surprised that Sink was announced for Spider-Man 4 instead of the mutant reboot, but he heard from his sources last night that Sink will likely play Watson.

With Zendaya playing Michelle Jones-Watson, a second MJ may surprise fans, but since the film will be set between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, Sink may play some version of the web-slinger's most iconic love interest.
