THE PENGUIN Rotten Tomatoes Score Revealed

The Penguin's review embargo was released earlier today (you can read our summary of the results here), and as a result, the HBO/Max series now has a crucial Rotten Tomatoes rating. Originally intended to be the first in a series of Max-exclusive TV programs set in Matt Reeves' Bat-verse, the Batman spin-off followed a different plan. After initiatives at Arkham Asylum and the GCPD failed, The Penguin filled the void between The Batman and The Batman II.


Based on 32 reviews as of this writing, The Penguin has a 91% rating. As far as we can ascertain, the whole eight-episode season was made available to critics. In light of this, it is unlikely to be a bait and switch like Secret Invasion, whose quality drastically declined after the first two installments were made available for review.
