Shawn Levy in talks to direct Avengets 5

Marvel Studios may have found an Avengers director.

Before Jonathan Majors left as Kang the Conqueror, Deadpool and Wolverine filmmaker Shawn Levy was in talks to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, according to Deadline and THR.


The studio reportedly offered Levy the role in mid-March, but he declined since he was finishing Deadpool and Wolverine and finishing Stranger Things.

Marvel's "push the film by several months" opened the door, and conversations are beginning.

It appears this is still pending. After receiving the latest script from Michael Waldron, Levy has not confirmed his participation, and other filmmakers are also in competition.
