Sony In The Process Of Casting Our Live-Action Miles Morales Spider-Man

Since Sony Pictures released the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film in 2019, rumors have circulated that a live-action Miles Morales film is in the works. Last year, former studio head Amy Pascal appeared to confirm the plans.

“You'll see all of it,” Pascal said on the red carpet when asked about Miles' live-action transition. ‘i’s all happening. After Across the Spider-Verse's massive success, Sony was rumored to want to fast-track a Morales film. We may finally be making progress on the project.

On this week's episode of The Hot Mic, reliable insider Jeff Sneider said the studio is casting a live-action Miles. No names are mentioned, but if this is true, the trades may weigh in once a frontrunner is identified.
Will Sony introduce Morales in an upcoming SSU project or in his own solo film? Since they're only casting, Venom: The Last Dance and Kraven the Hunter are out, so the former is more likely.
