Marvel Studios Reveals they Turned Down Ryan Reynolds First DEADPOOL 3 Pitch

Deadpool 3 would have probably been in theaters by now if Disney had not purchased 20th Century Fox. Though there hasn't been much information released regarding the first film, Ryan Reynolds reportedly always wanted Hugh Jackman to come back.

Marvel Studios will now be in charge of the Merc with the Mouth's role in a monumental Multiversal blockbuster. Indeed, Wolverine will accompany him (dressed in a comic-book appropriate outfit this time).

"The truth is, I wasn’t even sure how to incorporate Deadpool yet," the executive admits. "I was very much thinking about how to bring mutants and the X-Men into [the MCU], and I thought it needed to be more than just playing the hits. But the truth is, Ryan is an idea machine. So he may have pitched that to me, but he also pitched 25 other thoughts and ideas."
