Superman Legacy Emblem & Logo Revealed

It looks like information about the much-anticipated Superman reboot is already getting out on the first day of table reads for Superman: Legacy.

Isabela Merced, who plays Hawkgirl, and Sara Sampaio, who plays Miss Teschmacher, shared their excitement by posting their name cards on Instagram. However, they may have accidentally shown off the design for the House of El crest in the process.

The logo looks like it was based on the Kingdom Come DC Comics miniseries by Mark Waid and Alex Ross, which came out in 1996.

Fans now want to know if James Gunn is going to fully commit to the Kingdom Come theme and use a red and black symbol instead of the usual red and yellow one. Fans probably won't have to wait long to see David Corenswet in his Superman suit for the first time since shooting starts this spring. There are rumors (but no proof) that filming will start in March, so the reveal could happen at any time.

Gunn told Threads in December that the costume was "mostly done, but we're still going back and forth on some elements."
