CREATURE COMMANDOS Rotten Tomatoes Score beats all DCEU Projects

Creature Commandos' review embargo has been removed, and critics have nothing but positive things to say about DC Studios' debut DCU project (which premieres on Max later this week with its first two episodes).

The Max TV series has gained considerable acclaim, earning a flawless 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. While that number may change in the following days as more verdicts are collected, Creature Commandos' excellent start means it has broken a significant DC record.


It is the best-reviewed DC Comics adaptation ever, with a rating of 100%, beating out The Penguin (95%), The Dark Knight (94%), Superman: The Movie (93%), Peacemaker (93%), and The Suicide Squad (90%). The rating for DC Studios' documentary Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story is 98%.

While Creature Commandos isn't as well-known as next year's Superman relaunch, it's just what DC Studios and James Gunn needed. Not only should it allay some of the skepticism surrounding this reboot, but it also implies that Gunn and Peter Safran have the DCU in good hands following the DCEU's many ups and downs.
