Joker 2 CinemaScore Is the Worst for a Comic Book Film EVER

Not many people like Joker: Folie à Deux. CinemaScore, which polls moviegoers on opening night, gave Todd Phillips' musical sequel starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga a rare D. Just as rare, critics and audiences agree to reject the R-rated DC movie: Joker 2 is 33% "rotten" on Rotten Tomatoes. This is worse than Borderlands and Megalopolis, which received CinemaScore's D+.

Joker 2 has the lowest CinemaScore of any comic book-based film in CinemaScore's 45-year history, below 2019's Joker, which earned over $1 billion worldwide. Former record-holder Fantastic Four (2015) received a C-.
