Ryan Reynolds is back as shooting a new Deadpool Project
20th Century Fox announced Once Upon A Deadpool months after Deadpool 2's 2018 release. After reducing the sequel from R to PG-13, David Leitch returned to shoot new scenes, including a Fred Savage cameo.
Though profitable, fans and critics criticized it as a cash grab. Marvel Studios may release a Deadpool Holiday Special, according to rumors.
Last night, Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds posted behind-the-scenes photos from a shoot with Blind Al actor Leslie Uggams on Instagram. Look closely to see their Christmas-decorated apartment. It appears green screen work was needed.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special was a hit on Disney+ two years ago, so the Merc with the Mouth could do one about Deadpool and Al in their apartment. It could also be for Deadpool & Wolverine's Oscar campaign or streaming debut. Reynolds wouldn't have posted it on social media if it was secret. He's got fans talking, so we hope for an announcement soon.
