Deadpool 3 Director addressed Directing Avengers Secret Wars

This time around, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will be by Deadpool's side when he appears in the third installment of the Deadpool film series, which will be starring Ryan Reynolds as the character. Since the failure of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, in which Deadpool's ability to speak was removed, the two actors have joked about working together in one more Marvel film. Fans are anticipating an R-rated adventure, which will be featured in Deadpool 3, and it will feature a representation of both of the characters that is truer to their origins.

Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool 3, hinted over the weekend in an interview with Collider that the upcoming film will be a "R-rated bloodbath." This statement makes a lot of sense after viewing Logan as well as the first two Deadpool films. In addition to that, he mentioned that it would be a "two-hander," which means that both of the characters would have equal screen time.

"You have two major movie stars together in a movie playing their most iconic signature roles — that is director heaven," Levy explained. "So the story, the tone, the movie itself leans into that gift of having Deadpool and Wolverine co-starring in a movie for the first time. So, we're definitely not running away from that."
