Loki's Season 2 Release Date Expected to Move
After it was disclosed that Disney's newest mega-ton streaming show Ahsoka will alter its release timing from the traditional 3 a.m. slot, some people have begun to speculate about whether or not Loki Season 2 will follow suit.
It was announced that the Star Wars series would drop at a new time, making its debut at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) (6 p.m. Pacific Time), the day before its technical release day. This was done in anticipation of the premiere of Ahsoka. This might indicate that plans are in the works for Loki to do the same thing when he arrives on Disney+ on October 6. Instead of the typical late-night release, it will be available at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 5.
On the other hand, that was only for the first episode; after that, it went back to its regular time slot at three in the morning. The 9 p.m. slot will be occupied by the entirety of the Ahsoka series, which is something that has never been done before on the platform. This makes the release schedule for Ahsoka so significant.
