Deadpool 3 Release could be as late as 2025 Now
According to a recent report that was distributed by Matt Belloni through the Puck newsletter, if the SAG-AFTRA strikes aren't settled and the studios don't reach an agreement with the actors in the near future, Deadpool 3 could be put on hold for an extended period of time.
In the most recent issue of the newsletter, it was stated unequivocally that Marvel Studios can withstand a temporary halt in production of Deadpool 3 lasting approximately one month before being forced to push back the film's release date from May 3, 2024.
It is extremely unlikely that the actors and studios will reach a settlement within the next month, which means that the production of Deadpool 3 will almost certainly be delayed. The likelihood of a resolution is extremely slim to none. As was mentioned earlier, the movie was scheduled to be released in theaters on November 8, 2024, before Marvel Studios decided to bring the release date forward. It is possible that the upcoming project will be moved back into that release slot, although this will depend on how long the strike continues to last.
