Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is Not looking good for Disney+ Release
The Phase 5 blockbuster and the third and final film in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy just recently became available for purchase on digital platforms on July 7. It is anticipated that the film will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultron HD on August 1. James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, responded in the comments section of an Instagram post by saying that the movie will not be available on Disney+ for "a little while."
Even though neither Gunn nor Marvel Studios has provided an official date, it seems likely that it will be released on Wednesday, August 2nd. In addition to the fact that new content is normally added to Disney+ on Wednesdays, the Phase 5 threequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania became available on the streaming service the day after it was released on Blu-ray.
