David Corenswet CAST as Superman for Superman Legacy
The search is over for James Gunn; he has found Superman and Lois Lane.
Superman: Legacy, the film that will launch DC's new universe under the direction of writer-director Gunn and his DC Studios co-boss, Peter Safran, has finally found its lead, David Corenswet as the Man of Steel!
Corenswet was one of 3 actors who competed for the lead roles. Gunn filmed screen tests for the candidates over the weekend of June 17; in addition to Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult and Tom Brittney were also in the running to play Superman/Clark Kent.
