Major Live Action Spider-Man universe CONFIRMED for Spider-Verse 2

The announcement that Tom Hardy's Venom universe will be featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has been spoiled by a new photo.

In contrast to the first Spider-Verse movie, which only dabbled in the Multiverse in a minor way, the upcoming sequel is going to dive headfirst into the vast canon of Spider-Man comics that spans multiple dimensions. It has been hinted that this "grand" Spidey story will feature over "240 unique characters" from a variety of different worlds inhabited by Marvel animated wall-crawlers.

The words "Venom live-action universe will also feature in the Spider-Verse:" can be found in the accompanying text, which can be roughly translated into English.

“After the LEGO universe, the Venom live-action universe will also feature in the Spider-Verse. And there will be more exciting things to be revealed!”
