Neil Gaiman Accused Of Horrific Sexual Abuse
It was widely publicized in July of last year that two women had accused Neil Gaiman, author of The Sandman, Good Omens, and American Gods, of sexual assault. Several of the prolific author's planned projects have been discreetly postponed or cancelled, even if it does not seem like any more action was taken (at least not yet). The lengthy essay published by Vulture today dissects many of the criticisms leveled at Gaiman, who also wrote the critically acclaimed Eternals series for Marvel Comics, and it is absolutely terrifying to read. The piece's central character, Scarlett Pavlovich, remembers meeting Gaiman in New Zealand after becoming friends with his now-ex-wife Amanda Palmer and working as a nanny for their kids.According to legend, Pavlovich persuaded her to take a bath in his garden's claw bathtub while he made a business call at the end of their first meeting.
