Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Strikes back at "Superhero Fatigue" on 2nd Weekend
In its second weekend of release, Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was successful at the domestic box office, earning an additional $60.5 million than it did in its first weekend.
The decrease in ticket sales was 49% compared to the opening weekend, which represents an impressive hold... Only "Black Panther" (with a 45% hold) and "Thor" (with a 47% hold) among the more than 30 Marvel entries have had stronger second weekend holds. Moviegoers didn't venture too far from the massive headquarters of Knowhere anywhere else at the domestic box office, which is a good sign for the film as everything else almost did not chart at all.
