WB's Max Could save Superman & Lois from Cancelation
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Discovery is mulling over the possibility of moving the Arrowverse-adjacent series Superman & Lois to HBO Max (which will soon be rebranded to Max) for a potential fourth season. If this were to happen, the show would be spared from cancellation by The CW.
The president of The CW, Brad Schwartz, has stated in the past that he hopes the network will continue to air at least one show that is set in the District of Columbia. This could mean that either Gotham Knights or Superman & Lois will continue to air on The CW; however, due to the fact that the latter series is quite costly to produce, it is possible that the network will no longer want to pay for it.
It was previously stated that the future of this television show appeared to be bleak, with the general consensus being that The CW would not order a fourth season of the show. It isn't completely out of the question to move Superman to the HBO Max streaming service, as the first two seasons are already available on that platform, and the third season won't be far behind.
