Superman and Lois Season 4 not looking good

A new report from Deadline says that The CW is "not expected" to renew most of its remaining scripted dramas, even though Jared Padalecki's Walker was given a 13-episode Season 4 order for the 2023-2024 broadcast season.

The cost of making scripted dramas on The CW is higher than what the network is willing to pay in the future. This would mean that shows like Superman & Lois Season 4 and All American: Homecoming Season 3 could be canceled if the network is not willing to spend.

But Deadline said that the DC show might make the cut "if" there are more scripted renewals for the network, but that is a "big if," the outlet said.
