Spider-Man Noir Live-Action TV Series IN Development

A Spider-Man Noir series is in the works for Amazon Prime, according to Variety, and will be the second Sony Spider-Man spin-off set on the streaming service.

The untitled live-action series will center on an older version of the iconic wall-crawler operating in 1930s New York. According to the report, the project will not center on Peter Parker and will take place in its own universe.

Oren Uziel, who developed the series with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, as well as former Sony executive Amy Pascal, will join the project as writer and executive producer. This comes just months after Sony announced its streaming Spider-Man plans, with Silk: Spider Society being the first project to be announced.
