Henry Cavill's replacement for Superman is going to be mid 20's
A younger Superman casting makes sense given that Superman: Legacy isn't a retelling of the hero's childhood and adolescence. However, it is still younger than the late twenties or early thirties age range predicted by fans.
According to Collider, James Gunn commented on Superman's age and stage in life, explaining that "He's at work. He's a reporter," he says, adding that the new Batman might be "a few years older than Superman:"
"He's working. He's a reporter. He's at the Daily Planet. Again, we're coming into a world where superheroes exist and have existed. So, does that mean Batman might be a couple years older than Superman? Yes, it could be."
