Jonathan Majors texts admit to Abuse & More
A Manhattan Criminal Court jury has seen text messages from actor Jonathan Majors, who admitted to abusing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari months before the trial. The messages, which were read aloud in court without context, were referenced in October papers, medical records from the same month in the UK, and a report made by the London Metropolitan Police. Jabbari burst into tears as she read the passages, and Majors responded with a message expressing his feelings about notifying authorities. Judge Michael Gaffey previously determined the texts inadmissible. Majors has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges.
"I'm afraid you have no idea what could happen if you go to the hospital." They will interrogate you, and because I don't believe you are protecting us, it may lead to an investigation even if you lie and they suspect something," Majors wrote Jabbari in September 2022.
"If I go, I'll tell the doctor I hit my head." I'll give it one more day, but I can't sleep and I need stronger pain relievers. Why would I give them the truth when it's evident I want to be with you?"
