Charlie Hunnam Confirms DC's Green Arrow Role was Offered

A New interview by ComicBook has reveald the truth, For years, many DC Comics fans have said that Charlie Hunnam, who stars in Sons of Anarchy and Rebel Moon, would be perfect as both OIiver Queen and his superhero alter ego Green Arrow. Fans hoped that Hunnam would start out in Zack Snyder's DC Extended Universe with a bow and arrow as his superpower, like in Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder's Justice League. Snyder and Hunnam finally worked together on Netflix's Rebel Moon, but they never talked about working together when Snyder was at DC Films. But Hunnam was actually offered the part.

Hunnam talked with ComicBook.com at a Rebel Moon press event, where Hunnam revealed that he was, at one point, given the opportunity to play Green Arrow. "I never talked to Zack about it," Hunnam said. "Honestly, I don't remember who. It was some people in suits, brought the idea to me and thought it would be terribly exciting for me to play Green Arrow and I did not share their enthusiasm." SOURCE
