The Marvels Producer reveals how Kelsey Grammer Returned as Beast

Marvels producer Mary Livanos revealed to Entertainment Weekly how they brought back Grammer for a surprise cameo appearance in the film's mid-credits scene. She revealed that Marvel Studios producer Kevin Feige made contact with the actor because they had worked together in X-Men: The Last Stand.

"Kevin Feige just called!" Kevin, of course, worked on the first X-Men movie, so they have their own special bond. "We were so fortunate to have him," Livanos remarked.

Meanwhile, Kamala Khan actor Iman Vellani stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the moment was shot during the earliest stages of primary production, but she wasn't aware of the secret at the time. "The mid-credit scene was shot during principal [photography]."They had shot it previously, so they knew what they were doing. But I was expecting something different. I had no idea Beast was in it. "I knew they shot it, but I was expecting something different," she explained.
