Disney Confirms short Runtime for Captain Marvel 2

A new MCU record was just set by The Marvels' (a.k.a. Captain Marvel 2) recently confirmed runtime.

The follow-up to 2019's Captain Marvel, which will hit theaters on Friday, November 10, will bring back Brie Larson's Carol Danvers and Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury in addition to two MCU Disney+ stars, Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Paris' Monica Rambeau. The Marvels officially breaks the record for the shortest MCU film to date with a runtime of 1 hour and 45 minutes, according to Disney.

This is the first time Disney has independently verified the length of a Marvel Studios film, even though it was anticipated due to movie listings. In addition to being eight minutes shorter than The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World, the two previous MCU shorts, Captain Marvel 2 is also 18 minutes shorter than the first Captain Marvel movie.
